Get Ready For Muscadine Bloodline’s New Album With Every Song Released So Far

Country Music

Keep calm people, the album is coming tonight.

Anyone with a pulse has been anxiously waiting for the release of Muscadine Bloodline’s sophomore album, Dispatch To 16th Avesince it was announced at the end of last year.

The title track is a direct attack on the machine that’s been responsible for railroading so many talented artists, forcing them to fit into this corporatized box of blah, and churn out songs filled with sound waves and rap features to fit the radio criteria.

While the studio cut is phenomenal, they’ve released a few live performances of it that truly show their talent.

From firehouses, to front lawns, to the belly of the beast itself, each one is better than the next.

We’ve also heard the certified boot-stomper “Dyin’ For A Livin’”, which is absolutely guaranteed to put you in a better mood and make beers twice as cold and three times easier to drink.

Even if you work on a computer all day (guilty as charged) you’ll find yourself right in the midst of a hard shift at the factory listening to this one.

Like we’ve come to expect from the guys, they put out a killer acoustic version as well, but for me, this song is meant to be listened to with some backing.

And finally, we heard one of the most unique sad songs in quite some time. “No, Pedal Steel” is about a guy torn up about the loss of a woman, wanting to find something to comfort him, but can’t handle the beautifully sad crying of a pedal steel and basically tells the instrument off.

Very unique, and very good.

Let’s go, boys.

Can’t wait for midnight…

They were the first three time guest on the Whiskey Riff Raff Podcast as well, so make sure you give those a listen.
