Chrissy Metz Shares Beautiful Rendition Of ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’

Nashville

Country singer and acclaimed actress Chrissy Metz has released her first ever Christmas single, a cover of Bing Crosby’s “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.”

Metz’s rendition stays close to the tenderness of the original tune, as she looks back on memories of Christmas at home. Her delivery is tender yet blissfully hopeful, accompanied by gentle guitar strums, drums and piano.

“’I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ is not only nostalgic but incredibly special to me because it’s my Mom’s favorite Christmas song,” Metz shares. “This year it takes on a whole new meaning as we all more than ever want to be with loved ones, especially during the holiday season.”

Outside of her latest festive release, the This Is Us star also released the songs “Actress,” “Feel Good,” and her debut country radio single, “Talking To God.” Earlier in July, Metz also made her Grand Ole Opry debut.
