Jamey Johnson Releases Moving Cover Of “America The Beautiful”

Country Music

It’s good to hear that incredible Jamey Johnson voice again.

Jamey Johnson hasn’t released a new song in 5 years and hasn’t put out an album in 8, but hell, he’s still one of the best in the business. A few years back, Jamey revealed that he suffered a concussion and that it’s been hard to write and record new material since then.

However, being the patriot that he is, Jamey has just recorded his own version of “American The Beautiful,” originally written by Katharine Lee Bates back in the late 1800s.

And with the election right around the corner, and the political conversation as divisive as ever, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
